If you haven't been you need to. They make fantastic sandwiches on in house made bread. They make scrumptious pastries and huge cinnamon rolls.

A few weeks ago I made a special order for sourdough rolls and they exceeded my expectations! They were a huge hit at my weekend get away. I ordered more today 😊 Nicole was awesome in taking my order and making sure I was happy with the rolls. Amazing customer service 😊

Great local bread bakery, large variety of breads.Their breads are just simply heavenly! Place offers sandwiches, soups,pastries,soft drinks,tea,coffee.Could be a little wait, and middle aged lady at the front counter was very moody and unpleasant last couple times I went there.

They have been around for years and they are in anchorage too. They have gluten free options. Its got yummy soup n sandwiches to choose from. They have tables for dining in. Its worth checking out. Its healthy food thats yummy

Not only do they have a great fresh bread of different varieties but they have a wonderful lunch the soups and the ham and cheese baked into the bread is fabulous

Their sandwiches are the best in town and the home made bread is fantastic. They always have new specials and take a perfect order every time.

Their breads are delicious!! I love the molasses cookies!! But my most favorite thing is their clam chowder probably the best I've ever had !!! Everything is a little expensive but worth it for the quality!!

Perfect for lunch, and getting some work done. Great food and service. Except no one could help me get on the WiFi.

Finally getting around to writing this review (I don't know why it didn't occur to me to write it before). I frequent small businesses because I believe in supporting locally owned establishments, but I will no longer be supporting this company. I bought a loaf of bread from House of Bread and when I got home my family pointed out that it was moldy, so I drove back to the store the same day with my receipt to have it exchanged for a fresh loaf and the owner refused. The response I got was "I should have noticed before I left".

Great bread! I highly recommend house of bread more especially i love there basil and cheese bread. It is so good!!

BEST Sandwich I HAVE EVER HAD....Chicken Bacon Ranch (grilled)Also took a cinnamon roll (warmed) and added Cold Stone vanilla ice cream too it... Also fantastic!!!

Nice professional staff who greeted me as I entered. Very fresh delicious bread with a nice variety to choose from. My sandwich was amazing tasting. Can't wait to bring my daughter here!

Very long wait for cold sandwiches. One of the sandwiches was supposed to be hot (panini) and was cold. Ingredients were okay. Bread was okay. Sandwiches are mostly bread and not much filling ingredients.

I don't know why this place is still in business. The first time I went in I thought it was overpriced but I would give it a shot. The food was bad and the bread was stale and had NO flavor. I thought it might have been a bad batch or a bad day so I saved my opinion until I tried it a few more times. NOPE. I have been here on multiple occasions now and every time it is consistently bad. The one in Anchorage has better products so I'm bot sure what the difference is.

Was looking for a house made of bread. I was pleasantly surprised.

Very good toasted sandwich. I like that they are open. If only businesses were allowed to let me sit down and eat while my sandwich is still warm. It's very cold and windy outside. Thanks for helping Nancy out with sliced bread.

Great bread and kids live the field trips iur homeschool does here each year.

We were on a cruise through Alaska recently and stopped by the little town of Wasilla. Found this great bakery (they actually bake everything on the property). So now Wasilla is known for great bread and Sarah Palin. (-:

Everytime I come to get my favorite salad I always have a positive experience. The staff is always friendly and professional with outstanding customer service skills. Thank you all who work there for being nice and friendly!

Amazingly fresh bread with lots of variety

My first visit here and sampled a couple of the breads. Liked them both, but bought only the Herb Bread this time. Absolutely LOVE it! I have been eating it every day and liking it more each time.It may be a bit pricey, but I'd rather eat one really good high quality serving of something like this bread, than 2 or 3 servings of something that is just okay. Will most assuredly be back for more next week. I look forward to trying a wider variety of their fare as well.

Best white bread and breakfast goods

Really good sandwiches and soups. They have bread made in house for sale that they also use for their sandwiches, cookies and other deserts like lemon bars, cinnamon rolls and pumpkin bread. They will gladly cut your loaf if you want it cut and staff is usually friendly. Owner is usually there when we visit for Lunch. They have "specials" but they don't change much. The place is always cold so come with a jacket.

It is a great place and the people who work there are very polite and very prompt getting things to the customers.

The food was good.. 11 dollars just for a sandwich though and it took 10 minutes for a To go order..

Great bread, grab their frequent buyers baker’s dozen card. The owners are always hard at work. However, if you have a question about a product or what’s in stock make sure to confirm the answer, the staff is often trying to give you the answer you want to hear, not what is actually the case.Review as of 7 months later: a huge improvement since the new ownership! All staff is super friendly and ready to help. The entire atmosphere of the restaurant has changed for the better, more relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you for all your hard work! It shows.

The wonderful aroma of fresh bread greets you at the door. The sandwich choices are great and the staff offered tips to make great sandwiches even better. Sunrise sandwich with pesto added was amazing.

Worst customer service! Came in 20 minutes before closing and told the employee we would like to eat in since we normally don’t take long anyway, the front counter girl looked so upset and raised her eyebrows not to mention the girl in the back making the sandwiches. She wanted to make it clear they closed in 15 min then She grunted so loud I heard it loud and clear. I Told the girl up front to make it to go since it was an obviously inconvenience for the staff here. This upset me so bad I sit here writing a review while waiting for my food! Rude staff
